A Reliable And Tenacious Team You Can Trust

Alleged breach of contract results in lawsuit

When a contract dispute arises, the consequences can be devastating for businesses both large and small. In Detroit and Chicago, many business owners have found themselves in the middle of a dispute that ends up costing them a significant amount of money. Moreover, these disputes can also be a major time sink and generate a considerable amount of anxiety.

A reality star is seeking damages over an alleged breach of contract. The woman, who recently filed a lawsuit against the television station that her show is featured on, claims that she has been asked to appear in more episodes than she agreed to. A spokesperson for the TV station says that the network does not believe it has violated the terms of the contract.

According to the reality star, the network made a promise that she would only have to appear in 13 episodes per season. However, she claims that the network is trying to make her work on 20 episodes in one season. In her lawsuit, the reality star states that the network wishes to refrain from giving her a raise that she is entitled to under the terms of her contract.

With regard to handling allegations of contract breach, it is important for business owners and individuals to understand the unique nature of their situation and take an individualized approach. Business litigation can upend the lives of those involved, but there are steps that people can take to work towards a positive outcome. Sometimes, consulting an attorney who knows the ins and outs of business law is a smart move.
